I have a nasty suspicion that a lot of those Zentraedi ships won't be coming back from their mission, since 10,000 ships would have been very handy to have around during the War of Corporate Occupation and the Federation Civil War. Alternatively, maybe they remained in this unknown distant place beyond the Rim as a first line of defence.
