IRL, as Peter noted, Hassy comes from the 1999 Sega Dreamcast game Blue Stinger, which holds the peculiar distinction of being the only Resident Evil-style game I've ever enjoyed enough to finish. It's also mentioned in 2064: Random Access Memories and VA-11 Hall-A, the latter of which appearances startled me somewhat, because if you asked me to name a Dreamcast title that anyone would be throwing references to into games 20 years later, it would not have been Blue Stinger. I'm surprised it's even well-known enough to have a poorly-populated wikia. :)

In UF, it's a whole range of soft drinks, the best-known of which by far is Hassy Cola (which is so much more popular than the energy drink that a lot of people in the galaxy don't even know that the cola isn't the original Hassy product). It originated on Tomodachi in the 2100s, and became popular outside the Rigel Sector thanks to canny marketing strategies, such as the fact that it's served at Ninja World and shows up a lot on shows exported to the rest of the galaxy by TV Tomodachi.
