LAST EDITED ON Apr-25-07 AT 02:01 AM (EDT) For those in the curious, assuming a dyson sphere of 1au radius, which we can't, and an exact sphere, which we can't, and a perfectly flat track around the entire sphere, which we can't, we get the following invalid, but impressive, numbers. The hypothetical track would be 1,512,706,032 Miles long, and at 120mph, take 12,605,883.6 Hours or 525245 Days or 75035 Weeks or 1443 Years over a thousand _years_ to drive the sphere. That's some beef, there! Edit: fixed diameter/radius confusion. A dyson sphere of 1au _diameter_ would be excitingly hot. -- Kokuten Daysleeper RCW #13013 (Insert Witticism Here)
