OK, that was wicked awesome.

Also, the image of Robo asking Dorothy on a date is just way too cute. No idea if it'd work out, but hey, why not?

Shame about the limo, though.

If nothing else, it'll make some of the guys back at the Action Science League go "!"

Eh, she can fix it. :)

Much love for Robo.

Being an electrician, learning about Tesla is kind of required reading. He pretty much single-handedly created just about everything that we use in the trade even today. And of course, learning about Tesla leads to learning about Edison.

I find it completely believable that Edison, being the evil creep that he was, would design something with the sole purpose of crushing something of Tesla's. Thankfully, Edison was arrogant enough that he was unable to see the flaws in his creations, or that he was outclassed. Hopefully someone smart will melt the pieces down and that will be the end of the Edisonoid.

Somebody really smart might figure out how to remove the hard-wired programming sections, and replace them with somewhat more humanitarian directives.

(Tales of the Lensmen 123: Allies, for the first time: Atomic Robo and the Edisonoid, in And One Shall Be Scrapped!)

This is Edison we're talking about. It would be easier to melt it down and use the metals to fab something new.

And Dorthy is...Kato?

The standard outfit for licensed cabbies in Nekomikoka is similar (since it's based on the traditional chauffeur's uniform). Dorothy's not wearing a mask, though.

She's slightly out of uniform here - according to the bylaws of the Nekomikoka Taxi Drivers' Licensing Board, she should be wearing white cotton gloves - but she dislikes the way they can slip on the steering wheel just when you least want them to. And what the hell, if she gets nicked by a board inspector for it, it's only a 15-credit fine.

Took me about 10 minutes to figure out what the hell everyone was talking about until I decided to check the front page, and I was quite glad I did after the fact
But...
...Dorthy has a Chrome Buster now?
It seems almost like something out of a gag SRW 4-Koma and that just makes it even MORE awesome
(Does this mean that she has a Final Stage hiding somewhere too?)

I'm... not sure what that means, but I'll take it as good. :)

>(Does this mean that she has a Final Stage hiding somewhere too?)

Possibly, although (as with J, the prototype) using it probably involves sacrificing the entire biomimetic layer, and unlike J, Dorothy's not very comfortable with that.

4-koma are the four panel mini-strips that manga artists like to use to goof off a little. And I'm guessing SRW refers to Super Robot Wars, which is basically a Massively Multiplayer Crossover between every mecha anime ever, in the form of a tactics game.

Right on all counts
4-Koma of the SRW variety tend to get particularity goofy (The crossover nature of the franchise and the games usually being less than serious helps this) and seeing Dorothy with the Chrome Buster wouldn't be to unusual in one
And of course, I cant find any Big-O related ones when I need them...
