That's #10, actually. And Rose did meet the previous model first - he plays the Rt. Hon. the Earl of Eccleston in that episode of Professor Enigma they're about to watch at the end there, which must feel a little weird.

I'd actually rather like to see #11 and Rose share an episode - I suspect they would be sort of rather hilarious, although I can't decide whether Duplicate Doctor would make the whole thing funnier, or fail entirely. (From context here, we can guess that Duplicate Doctor didn't happen in UF.)

But anyway, yeah, the "current" Doctor in the UF universe is still the tenth. And Gallifrey is still there. So, you know, not a one-to-one match, though it certainly would simplify Don's life if Gallifrey vanished into a cosmic continuity error and took Tobernel with it. Be kind of a bummer for Ace and Romana if it happened right "now", though.
