Asteroid racing does seem like it would be an interesting spectator sport. It should be easer to follow than some sports I know of.

If I was crazy enough to compete in asteroid racing, it would be in the Modified Fixed Configuration class with a Tarsus or a Workbee; Fixed-config with either a Starfury or a McDonnall Douglas SA-43 Hammerhead.

Um...Gryp, is there any NOE racing? Because I'm sure that there is some landscape features in various systems, that some hot shot pilots try to buzz.
Beggar's Canyon on Tattooine, the fire cliffs of Romulus, the canyons of Mars, the UP yards, New Detroit, Megacity One, are just some locations that come to mind. If there is I'd be competing in the Modified Fixed Configuration with a British Aerospace Harrier.
