But it's OK, the archive broke the fall.

Hey, at least I didn't accidentally erase it this time.

sigh.

Also, Ebony, for the record, I think Lensmen: BatB's Aquaman figure would have to be Prince Vultan of Thanagar, for obvious reasons.

Well, obviously, but Vultan never had the general lack of respect that Aquaman has gotten over the years. (Which I personally never got. I mean, he's the only superhero who has his own government, for Pete's sake!) Still, seeing "Gryphon's ALIVE!" might be just as amusing as "Guest Starring Brian Blessed as Nikola Tesla."

Brian Blessed. He's like the actor equivalent of the Benny Hill theme. ANYTHING he does becomes hilarious simply due to his (massive) presence. So much so it occasionally causes mental imbalances to those unready to experience it.

Blessed can be not-hilarious when he puts his mind to it. He appears in an early episode of "Blake's 7" as an antagonist to Blake's crew. While he is characteristically over the top -- likely why he was cast in the role -- he doesn't turn the episode funny by any stretch.

Certainly. But he definitely is playing his stock Brian Blessed character there. For a better version, check his roles in Kenneth Branaugh's versions of various Shakespearean dramas. He ranges from spooky and strange as Hamlet's Ghost to positively reserved (for Brian Blessed, at least) in "Much Ado About Nothing." He even gets to play diametrically opposed twins in "As You Like It."

Brian Blessed? Never heard of the guy.

Oh, are you talking about BRIAN BLESSED?

There's a restraining order requiring him never to be within 500 feet of a kosher deli.
