#0, Question for Gryph: Cameo?
Posted by E_M_Lurker on Mar-26-09 at 10:26 PM
I'm writing a short-but-hopefully-epic fic for our Virtue hero team, The Legendary, and I was wondering if you'd be okay with my borrowing a couple of your characters for a cameo? Roosevelt, Captain Photon, maybe the Torch, and they wouldn't be doing much more than... well, participating in a singalong, really... :)

Just to be clear, do you mean the Torch of Victory or Twilight Torch? The latter isn't my character, you see, she's Truss's.

I don't have any problem with mine turning out for cameos, as long as it makes some sense (e.g., Jen there as Torchy makes sense, Jen there as Gen. Rossum doesn't sound like it would :).

Victory; I'd forgotten there were two Torches or I'd have been clearer.

Yeah, it's an event taking place in Paragon, so there won't be a heck of a lot of villains participating. On the other hand, it's a "possible future" story, so there could very well be two heroic Jens singing in harmony... :)

In one Mission Architect arc where I'm letting the player look through Crey's filesystem, one of the possible things they can find is a fragment of a Real Hero Fanfic featuring the torrid romance between Captain Photon and Silver Gale.

No real reason. I just thought a pairing where both sides would say "...who?" on hearing of it is hilarious.

snort!

I think they did actually meet once, waiting around in one of the Cacophony Rooms at Portal Corp. for their respective teammates to show up. :)
