- Zebulon P. Gryphon began life as my sign-in name for Elite Dangerous, Zebulon being an extrapolation of the "Z." at the beginning, in a Forum post about something that happened during gameplay. He's named for Zebulon Pike, the 19th-century explorer and namesake of Pikes Peak, by way of the titular author of the old Star Frontiers sourcebook, Zebulon's Guide to the Frontier.

As you can see, since his arrival in the 25th century he has adopted their much more practical trouser and boot technology, but he still won't give up his yellow shirt.

- Sadly, doo dads are no longer made, but those of us who were of a certain clade at WPI in the early '90s still remember them fondly.

Gardetto's is the better snack mix, but doo dads had a certain charisma all their own.

- You can't use the unique NPC assets when designing bridge officers, so I can't actually make a perpetual-ensign tactical boff who looks like Daniels, but if I could, I totally would.
