There are a lot of Mechwarriors around this forum, of course, and I was wondering if anyone had tried out the expansion for the newest Battletech game, Battletech: Flashpoint yet?I own the original game but am not a huge player right now. My computer hates to load it in less than 10 minutes, so my ADHD won't let me play more than two missions in a row before I jump off to something else. However the expansion adds one my favorite 'mechs, the Crab, and I heard it did some interesting parts to some of the game. I was just wondering if it does it all to the end-game, or if there were enough early and mid game content that I might want to pick it up for the hell of it.

I'm rather fond of the Hatchetman animation and how that hatchet pops out and goes back to standby when the mech is idle.Michael C. Fortner "Maxim 37: There is no such thing as "overkill". There is only "open fire" and "I need to reload".

I kinda wish the Hatcheman was better. Taking it from the table top nerfed it as you can't do the shoot jump melee thing that makes it decent.------ Oh God, it was me. I was the grognard all along.

The campaign mode in the latest update is rather fun, with no preset path to follow.Michael C. Fortner "Maxim 37: There is no such thing as "overkill". There is only "open fire" and "I need to reload".

hmm... havent started a campaign mode run myself, at least not yet, Mc F, prefering to show more than a bit of inertia in terms of the games I like to play.
