Earlier today, I was reminded of one of my favorite little details about Pokemon Sword (while watching Ina play Final Fantasy XVI, of all things). Gloria generally doesn't conduct herself in a particularly brash or cocky manner during the game, despite the above? But there's one exception, which tickles me every time: She enters buildings like she owns the place. She doesn't pick a side of the double door and go through--she shoves them both open and goes right up the middle, like Conan barging into a throne room. "Who will face me?!"

They probably just animated it like that because it was the simplest way to set up a universal door-opening animation, but it unintentionally defined a key aspect of Gloria's personality for me. :)
