I really enjoyed both Returns and Hong Kong, except for the part where the designers clearly expected the player to be able to time their moves in order to sneak past the white ICE when infiltrating hostile computer systems. I never managed this feat, and eventually got stuck on what I think was the second-to-last mission of Hong Kong, because I couldn't rescue the dude from the biotech experiment within the time limit, because I kept having to fight the ICE.

If anyone has tips for how to do that, I'd love to hear them, I still wish I could finish the game :(
