A very soon-to-be released tactics RPG from Vanillaware, who have basically no bad RPGs. Mechanically, it's Ogre Battle for the modern era, which brings me more joy than I can easily verbalize, as somehow basically no one took that specific implementation of a strategy RPG and copied it past those games.

Demo trailer, which is available on consoles. The demo is the entire game but time limited to 5 hours in-game (menu time does NOT count), and then your save carries over into the official release.

I'll have to take a look! I do like strategy RPG's, and 13 Sentinels was an -amazing- visual novel/strategy game. Just a stunning story.

Which is kind of hilarious, given how much success JRPGs and adjecent games have had on the platform in recent years.

Spoiler: Yeah it's great. Probably quality wise something like 70% Gameplay vs 30% Story but it's solid enough for what it gives you in the writing while you get to then engage with the battle system.
