They should do a version of the Oguri figure in her grubby tracksuit from before she went to Tokyo Tracen. :)

Pull twice on the Quest banner for the limited Grass and El: No luck.

Pull once on the Fuji banner: Get a magician and a masked Uma.

I have Calli luck!

Go home, Umamusume, you're drunk.

And this is after the skipped every banner since drop other than Narita Brian (who I also pulled on the first draw). It's like I bank luck, blow it on a single pull, and then have to spend months banking up more luck to try again.

As opposed to the loli-baba Piper or the "really 700 years old" Qingyi?

Oh hell, I can't talk, I play Arknights and not only are several "meta" operators exceptionally-gifted children or child soldiers, but also include serial killers, eldritch abominations, several demi-gods, and a lich.

Don't forget Soldier 11 and Anby, who, conversely, look and act full-grown, but are really like... five? I forget if their agent stories actually said how long ago the flashback parts were, but it wasn't terribly long.

I am occasionally tempted to borrow a character design from that game, but I have yet to figure out how to justify changing UF's version of Surtr that drastically. :)

Well, it'd still be converting a male flame giant embodiment of malevolence into a humanoid female who seems (from my limited exposure to the actual game) like she's nice enough. I feel like that would take at least a little explanation. :)

Alternately (and to swing back to Uma matters), I suppose I could take a page from the event that ended this week and just replace him with Golshi. I wonder how long it would take Asgard to notice?

You could always go the Galacta route and say she’s his daughter, also named Surtr. You already have the many Zathras’, there’s precedent. :3

Now I'm picturing the wave of consternation in Asgard when a visiting-card in that name arrives, as everyone boggles at the idea that he would show up there... and then the second wave of consternation when she shows up instead. :)

Pick one:

- Yukari is fooling around again
- Psi Corps conspiracy

Ohtori walks into the throne room, taking a knee before the throne and bows his head while asking for Surtr's guidance, the throne turns around to reveal...Goldshi in a cape and sporting a shit-eating grin. A flash goes off and Ohtori recovers just enough of his wits to realize it was Deadpool taking a pic of his shocked face.

Fine Motion's lore is getting retconned

Background: One of the funniest pieces of lore that people observed was that there was a heavy implication that Fine Motion was Irish Royalty. Which said some very funny things about the state of Uma world alternate history. Looks like they finally understood/recognized that and are correcting it.

Though the correction is that she's now the "descendant" of a defunct royal line. So the only thing that really changes is we address her as "ojou-sama" rather than "hime-sama."

>On the plus side, Special Week's swimsuit is super cute.

I forgot to mention, I got Special Week's swimsuit version by accident. I meant to do a 10-pull on Meisho Doto's banner, misclicked, and robotically went through the completion without realizing I was on the wrong one until about 10 milliseconds after I'd committed to it. So, naturally, that pull had two rainbows--beach Spe-chan and a second wedding dress Maya.

So that happened...

Just had a nightmare of a career run with Winning Ticket. Somehow she hit every mood-down and/or affliction event available. She got Night Owl twice. At one point she had Night Owl and Slacker stacked, I sent her to the Infirmary, she got rid of Slacker and immediately, in the same turn, picked up Migraine.

What with failures to cure, she spent at least seven turns in the Infirmary (I lost count), and lost several other turns to mood repairs. In the middle of all that, she had to run one of her goal races with Migraine and mood=Awful. Her Classic year was an unmitigated disaster, the kind of thing that there are probably still UmaTube retrospectives about.

We got to the hot springs anyway.

I love how the first four installments of Meisho Doto's story mode are almost entirely made up of TM Opera O being incredibly patient with her without ever breaking character and appearing to do so. She's like the older sibling trying to big up the younger one without patronizing her (at least any more than Opera O patronizes everyone). It's pretty cool of her.

Hey babe, wake-up, Cygames dropping the Guts meta update on us early (Nov 11).

... but I seem to be really good at pulling three-stars who aren't on rate-up, especially if they're dupes (or alternate versions of characters I already have, which I accept isn't QUITE the same thing).

For instance, I've been trying for Eishin Flash with the half-anniversary gifts... and so, naturally, along comes superhero-outfit Condor. Who laid low during her actual promo event so that swimsuit Spe could make the scene. And, so, on.
