As I said in the last thread, my first visit to Quincy was something of an accident, and I moved on before clearing out the place completely. Tonight, that changed. I decided to make an occasion of it, and swapped mods, allowing for multiple companions. Alice, Preston and Piper marched up to the town gates, ready to finish a war, then report on it. Just before the shooting started, I fired off a signal flare, and history didn't repeat, as a squad of Minutemen arrived, one of whom had a minigun.

What followed was... well, it was pretty one-sided actually. There were a lot of Gunners, and I don't think any of them were below level 70, but none of them had a Fat Man this time. There was a guy with a missile launcher, but he didn't last long. Clint stuck his head out over the edge of the freeway to find out what was going on, and one of my militiamen gave him a minigun to the face for his trouble, followed by the familiar THWOOM of Prestons laser musket.

After about ten minutes of chaos, the sun was setting, and the Gunners had received a hard lesson in what happens when they don't have insider information and civilian targets to distract the heroes. It was a good day. Now, to go talk to Nick about this holotape I found...
