Not to mention that if you read the computers in the Vault, you learn that you were just part of some experiment.

Honestly I'm not sure which corporation in Fallout is the most corrupt.

Vault Tech for, you know, the Vaults, most of which were doomed to just one outcome. (And in fact were never really intended to be used the way they were.)

Or Nuka Cola, which for whatever darned reason was experimenting on their own staff while experimenting on visitors.
