To be fair, it's hard to get Brits to compete when the set is in the US. As for the hosts, Robert Llewellyn hosted Series 1-3 (the imported ones), then was replaced. When that guy didn't work, they replaced him for Series 5. Apparently they decided that the Brits knew what they were doing after all, and brought Robert back for Series 6... We'll see what happens with Series 7...

As a side note, one of the replacements went on to host Weakest Link at least once. I was very surprised by the caustic redhead's transformation when I saw it, let me tell you...
