It has come to my attention that the recently-released Street Fighter 6 has both a custom character creator and a GTA-style open-world mode where you can wander around the city the Final Fight games are set in, being a random street fighter type. I have no information on hand as to whether the story mode is available to said randos or what it's like if it is, but on the face of it, that all sounds closer in general concept to Warrior's Legacy Online than I would ever have expected Capcom to actually make at any point, which is... kind of neat. :)(It's also 60 bucks for the cheapest version, so I doubt I'll be exploring it first-hand anytime soon, but, y'know. Still kind of neat. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. I went rummaging around today, because there were a few marked "unread" leading the re-reading a bunch of stuff, I ran into quite a few posts touching of WL. And while I do get the point, as it were, I still REALLY wish you'd do the next one, the one with Korra. That is all. ...! It also has Marisa, my new favorite character. Not in playstyle, but just in vibes. I'm a sucker for giant women.

In the game's story mode, alluded to above, Marisa talks about how she wants to find a spouse - "man, woman, it doesn't matter" - and how she wishes she could fight naked with someone as the Greeks of old did. She is also, as Zemyla rightly attests, a huge muscular lady whose physique is as sculpted as the graven marble images of the Olympian gods.As a schlubby trans lesbian, I was Extremely Very Normal about this. --- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards. in her victory animation she picks up her defeated opponent in a bridal carry i am so unbelievably gay

So is anyone else suffering from any cognitive dissonance here because they haven't actually seen any pictures or anything of the SF Marisa, but are familiar with a different Marisa who's shown up in semi-recent EPU works?-IA. (there's probably an actually-not-porn-somehow doujinshi plot to be had in Touhou Marisa deciding to try out that naked fighting thing)

>(there's probably an actually-not-porn-somehow doujinshi plot to be >had in Touhou Marisa deciding to try out that naked fighting thing) I haven't seen anything involving that particular thing (admittedly, I haven't been looking), but I assume that name connection is the reason for the curious uptick in "improbably buff Kirisame" fanart on DB. --G. -><- Benjamin D. No cognitive dissonance for me, certainly--I haven't actually fired up SF6 in a while but I've finished the story mode. Marisa is absolutely devastating and fun to play. The World Tour Mode (ie., single player story) character generator is fairly robust, the story is cheesy and not very deep, but the gameplay is certainly fun. SF6 is the best SF game in quite a few years. I can certainly recommend waiting for the price to go down if you're not deep into fighting games, but it's worth a look. ------ Authors of our fates Orchestrate our fall from grace Poorest players on the stage Our defiance drives us straight to the edge

>Marisa is absolutely >devastating and fun to play. I would like to offer a cogent opinion on Marisa's playstyle and general tier placement as a fighter, but the first time I saw her was when she was wearing a white suit themed after the one the protagonist wears in a recent Yakuza game and my soul left my body.
