Ian did a video on one of Goring's platinum Rugers.Unfortunately for the hypothetical shooter, it's only platinum plated, and it doesn't come with platinum bullets. And that doesn't even get into the other problems with pulling a gun on Korra and expecting it to take her down.

I dunno, I feel like even if you throw in a Luger, Korra v. Hermann Göring is going to be a short fight.--G.

>Göring is going to be a short fight. Yeah, he was a desk jockey. Airbend the gun away, trap him in whatever element is handy, and if nothing else, just punch him until he falls over. On a side note, can Corwin bend purified metals like platinum? I'm unsure if his abilities as the Rune Knight of Iron are beholden to the same limitations as Diqiu metalbenders. Or can he only Work it?

Oddly enough, thanks to the elemental system his Rune God comes from (which has metal but not earth), Corwin's bending-like ability basically works backward from Diqiu earthbending. When he does what looks like earthbending, he's really shoving around the trace metals, which means he'd probably be stymied by pure silicates. --G.
