Yeah, so, regularly I watch the "Firearms Expert reacts" type video on Gamespots Oo-toob channel. A game is, as best I can tell, picked semi-randomly, but with obvious weighting towards anything new and popular, and guns in the game are reacted to, commented on, answered about by, and I quote here, "Jonathan Ferguson, the Keeper of Firearms and Artillery at the Royal Armouries in the UK, which houses a collection of thousands of iconic weapons from throughout history". This is mentioned in the beginning of each video, and is now well on its way to becoming a meme.Anyway, Jonathan is an exceedingly knowledgable person on firearms, and also a gamer himself, so he has the background on both levels. The videos are fun and interesting and I recommend them. And a couple of weeks ago, the game he commented on was Fallout:London. Me, I know literally nothing of the game, but I do like the capital of the UK a lot, and, well, I love the series. And so I watched...and lo and behold, a bit into the video, there appeared a gun I recognized the name of, though I couldn't think of why, until Jonathan mentioned the ammunition from it, the iconic "tround", mentioned elsewhere in this forum. So, if you want a bit, though sadly very short, information about the Dardick and its ammo, and also a couple of other things, one of which was hilarious? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMK0gdUH4a0&t=680s ...! Odds are usually pretty good that the obscure or experimental weapons Johnathan mentions on his show have been given a full video over at Forgotten Weapons, as is the case with the Dardick. You don't really tune into "Reacts" videos to get long and detailed looks at the guns reviewed, you're there to watch Johnathan cringe in horror at whatever crimes against firearms the video games industry has served up this week. Of particular note is the video he did on Call of Duty: Vanguard and the abominations possible with the customization options. As for Fallout: London, I've heard a whole lot of praise since it was released, though tempered with the long list of bugs that the developers are still squashing even weeks later. It's on my (admittedly sizable) backlog of games to check out, though I'm a bit hesitant to download it until I can guarantee enough time to give it a proper shakedown as it's a 30gb download.

The Royal Armouries in Leeds is well worth the visit. The half-day we spent there in '08 did not do it justice, but is still paying dividends.

I happen to live in Leeds so I've been a few times and it's always a good day out.
