This weekend's episode of Firearms Expert Reacts with Jonathan Ferguson, BA, PgD, TKOFAAATRAMITUK, WHACOTOIWFTH, is the last one. Cohost "Irregular Dave" Jewitt elaborated a little in a pinned comment, saying, "Due to changes at the company, myself and the team are being made redundant."

(He also asked people to keep supporting GameSpot, which, since virtually every comment on there is some variation "well, there goes my only reason to watch this channel," seems like a well-intentioned request that will largely not be honored.)

Yet another nice thing we can't {have|keep} in 2024.

It's a small consolation prize, but Johnathan has been doing his own videos over on the Royal Armouries channel for awhile now, like this recent one covering some of the history of the H&K G3 alonside Ian Sanders from the Cold War Conversations channel.

Perhaps now that Gamespot has put the kibosh on the series, they can resurrect it over there.

And now, in the spirit of creative talents from The Escapist creating the Second Wind channel to keep their shows going, Johnathan and Dave have created the EXP channel to continue posting his reaction videos. The offerings so far include CoD: Black Ops 6, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, and the Captain America films.
