Over the last couple of days, I've put together the beginnings of an off-the-Forum home for Gun of the Week, which will probably live under the Lab & Grill tab on the EPU site alongside the Forum, the Vault, and whatnot. It'll just be a collection of flat files (and because I gotta be me I'm doing them mostly by hand in Adobe Dreamweaver, rather than using any one of the thousand or so static blog packages out there, because doing it this way doesn't require any fiddling with the server); it will have no comment functionality or anything like that, so discussion will still be happening here.

I'm hoping to have it close enough to ready that the next GotW will debut there instead of here, and then the older entries will get converted and added to it as and when I can carve out the time for it. I've also been giving some thought to coming attractions (might do a poll on that later), and am getting closer to making a go/nogo decision on the Søren Bang Memorial Fund.

Also, though it might not look it from out there right this minute, I am still/again working on stuff that isn't even related to Gun of the Week, so don't fret if that's not your bag. :)

Got a bit confused with the HTML entities there, chief. It should be either "&oslash;" (ø) or "&#number;" where number is the Unicode code point as a decimal number (or alternatively "&#xHHHH;" where HHHH is the full four-digit hexadecimal code point).

Or, you know, maybe I know that and it's only a typo. :/
