Sad he's gone, and definitely fuck cancer...

but, you know, it's weird? I'm not as...shocked by this, as some of the others this year. I wonder if its because he was so open about all of it, and we've had time to accept that this was most likely the outcome, as much as we'd all wish it different.

I agree that he prepared us for it, even as he prepared himself.
