My father (of whom I have mentioned before I have a fraught relationship) was a Parrothead. Songs You Know By Heart was a regular on drives, Margaritaville was a button on the XM, he got margarita glasses and learned how to make the drinks by hand to “do it right”, and he got items specifically to safely beer can chicken on the grill.I haven’t spoken to him since coming out, but I’m sure he’s in mourning today. -- Jen Dantes - Darth Mephron Haberdasher to Androids, Dark Lady of Sith Tech Support. Everyone's going to mention "Margaritaville" today, but this was Jimmy's best song.
I really do appreciate The fact you're sittin' here Your voice sounds so wonderful But your face don't look too clear So barmaid bring a pitcher Another round of brew Honey why don't we get drunk and screw? Why don't we get drunk and screw? I just bought a waterbed It's filled up for me and you They say you are a snuff queen Honey I don't think that's true So why don't we get drunk and screw? Pick it, Coral Reefers, here we go Why don't we get drunk and screw? I just bought a waterbed It's filled up for me and you They say you are a snuff queen Honey I don't think that's true So why don't we get drunk and screw? Yeah now baby say I say Why don't we get drunk and screw? - Jimmy Buffett "Why Don't We Get Drunk" A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean (1973)

I heartily agree. ******************************* I'm really here, but I'm not here, really.

I had my first margarita yesterday in memory. It was pretty good, though a bit stronger than it tastes.

>I had my first margarita yesterday in memory. It was pretty good, >though a bit stronger than it tastes. Depends 100% on the quality of tequila.
