LAST EDITED ON Feb-16-24 AT 08:34 PM (EST) So! Since there appears to be a day with no Doki/Niji drama(I seem to have retroactively jinxed it), let's get to some fun things; Your favorite clips and animations! From any group or vtuber~First up for me is Mr H and H who has done a number of animations for clips of vtubers for many companies and indies, including some on commission. Such clips as Henya, Pippa, and Tenma having a conversation about the seaside, Kronii's impressive padoru and Kobo and Zeta wishing Kaela a happy birthday. Then we have Ebihurai(EN here), who does japanese hololive animations with adorable kid-like versions of the girls - mostly in relation to Botan, and Nene. Here is a 2023 compilation~ And finally for animations, here's a quick Kronii Karaoke Fail from Tripl3, who's done many others as well~ And for clips...I'll just drop this one here Trickywi versus her chat's sound redeem timing for lack of being able to choose any in particular~ Edit to add: And here's an extra! SuperAppleMan asking the big questions What's the fox say? with Fuwamoco~

LAST EDITED ON Feb-16-24 AT 08:27 PM (EST) edited to add emphasis. Here's Reiruka who does disgustingly adorable chibi shorts based around silly voice clips from the Holo girls. For an example, here's Sora doing an awoo and a classic. "This is probably a stupid question, but . . ."

YT decided sending me HoloEN clips wasn't enough, so I ended up over at Rin Penrose's account where I got to see some cursed character drawings including the third Abyssgard sister Chiwawa.

A few Hololive clip animators I'm surprised no-one has mentioned yet:
- 2ManySnacks, responsible for what was probably the ultimate Korone gateway meme. They also animated Kiryu Coco teaching Tokoyami Towa American slang for large breasts.
- The animation style of 9am is kind of the opposite of that of 2Snacks, simplistic and almost subdued compared to 2Snacks's detailed drawings and big movements. Witness the rest of Council (less Sana) bullying Bae for her pronunciation of tomato, and Laplus Darkness's infamous mispronunciation of "Earth".
- tian nya has a similar style to 9am's. Observe Korone pondering one of SMB's enduring mysteries.

For the record, 'Planet of the Bass' is a...style parody, to borrow Weird Al's terminology, of late 90's early 2000s euroclub music. The terrible alien masks, the bad special effects, the random 'contemporary' video clips, the nonsense lyrics. It's just chef's kiss.

Had a six month check-up on Monday and worked the night before so I was mentally exhausted when I got home and foolishly tried to get a nap that just left me in that twilight state where I was too awake to sleep and too sleepy to think straight. So I just grabbed the first clothes I could and ran to get to my appointment while still rubbing my eyes.Wasn't until the nurse was complimenting me on my shirt that I realized that I'd grabbed the one that says "Please Do Me a Favor and STOP TALKING."

>Wasn't until the nurse was complimenting me on my shirt that I >realized that I'd grabbed the one that says "Please Do Me a Favor and >STOP TALKING." Indeed, I'm sure many health care professionals wish they could wear that shirt, or the one based on the San Francisco MTA driver's-cab signs ("information gladly given, but safety requires avoiding unnecessary conversation"). :) There used to be a little store here in town that was run by the rudest people I've ever encountered in retail. One of them routinely worked the register wearing a T-shirt that said "If Assholes Were Airplanes, This Place Would Be LAX". I kinda respected the stance, but it didn't surprise me too much when they closed... (My mother has something of a taste for similar shirts, but without the sweariness. Hers say things like "I can only please one person a day. Today isn't your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either.") --G. -><- Benjamin D. Hers say things like "I can only please one person a >day. Today isn't your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either.") I'm at that stage in my life where my t-shirts fall into one of three categories: snarky comments, blatant nostalgia, or Star Trek jokes (Such as the red one that says "This Is My Favorite Red Shirt" with the arrowhead on the top left). As an employee in the hospitality industry, my favorite shirt remains the one that says "Don't Rush Me, I'm Paid by the Hour."
