LAST EDITED ON Feb-21-24 AT 07:47 PM (EST) So, there’s a whole saga here which I can’t get into at this exact minute - I’m sure others will if I don’t come back to this in time - but the worst Vtuber agency isn’t Nijisanji. It’s a company known as WACTOR, or 910 Inc as they recently rebranded to. They’ve recently lost what few people they had left, with one citing orders to STOP TAKING HER MEDS - which she did - causing serious medical and psychological issues. Further information for now can be found Here while I gather things which will be added in edits. This appears to be the earliest point at which WACTOR started making the news, 13 months ago, January 31st, 2023, when a chunk of their ES branch went missing. Then we have WACTOR doxxing their own talent. Here's one about them doxxing another of their talents... WACTOR losing more talents... This is the current end of the saga at this point at 4:26 PM PST February 21st, 2024. I fully expect this to be added to at some point soon. When WACTOR is in the news, it's often there for a good week or two.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-20-24 AT 10:44 PM (EST) As reported by he of the False Eye D, yeaaaap. Her anti-psychotic meds. This is the company that everyone has been comparing Nijisanji to, of late. In a 'They've apparently taken 'WACTOR is the worst VTuber agency' as a challenge' kind of way.

Upon reflection, I'm not just startled that the company would issue that instruction, I'm completely baffled by the idea that someone followed it. That's practically a real-life "if someone told you to jump off a bridge" moment.--G. -><- Benjamin D. I mean, being fair. She needed them in the first place. It's depressingly easy to convince somebody they don't need their brain-type meds. You could just say 'you're more fun to be around' or 'You don't seem like yourself when you take them'. Especially if you catch them in that window when they're about to take their next dose.

I've had people say that about my anxiety meds. There is a part of my brain that tries to insist those people aren't idiots shoved up their own assholes. Matrix Dragon, J. Random Nutter

They're the same kind of people who are like 'this disturbed artist was only good because of their mental issues", which is....No.

(I have a complex relationship with that movie, but I think of those 14 seconds whenever I'm confronted with something bafflingly stupid. Clooney's delivery is just perfect.)--G. -><- Benjamin D. >> As reported by he of the False Eye D, yeaaaap. Her anti-psychotic meds. > >FOR WHAT PURPOSE? I've been wondering about that all day. The only thing I can figure is that some sociopathic management type decided the talent in question was unacceptably low-energy when medicated, or something along those lines. I hope I'm wrong about that and there's some other explanation I'm simply failing to think of, but... ye gods. --G. -><- Benjamin D. LAST EDITED ON Feb-21-24 AT 07:53 PM (EST) Control, perhaps. WACTOR's people - in particular its CEO - seems to think that the company employees are his personal servants. I'll be adding more to the top post later. This is a whole thing. Finding the most relevant events in the news is proving difficult. EDIT: It's possible I'm thinking of another really, really terrible vtuber agency thinking the talents are personal servants; AkioAIR. I don't know for sure at the moment, but it's possible I'm conflating the two. WACTOR is absolutely the worst, but AkioAIR wasn't too far behind.

>They’ve recently lost what few people they had leftOne thing I noticed on that Wikia page was that, if I'm reading it right, they had someone debut on January 20 of this year... and nail his 95 theses to their front door on his way out three days ago, less than a month later. That is an impressive zero-to-60 time for a "take this job and shove it" decision. --G. "You can keep the five bucks, I've had it." -><- Benjamin D. LAST EDITED ON Feb-21-24 AT 07:56 PM (EST) Yeap! And it was because they were trying to extort money from him and make him do staff work and other stuff that wasn't in his contract. They then *threatened him* to do it or they'd sue him for contract breech. As he said, if he was, they'd have already fired him. EDIT: The most recent entry into the WACTOR saga goes into his response to them.
