I see a lot of people in the Twitter replies talking about merch shipping rates, but I'm thinking, Oh hey, maybe this means HoloEN members will one day be able to archive their damn English-language karaokes.

I think that's more because they just never bothered to buy the English karaoke licenses? But music licensing is an arcane business even in the US, in Japan it's worse, so I'm just guessing.

If it weren't for the fact this would have needed to have been started like six months or more ago, I'd say this was in response to NijiEN's local company branch being so incredibly bad.

I'm hoping this'll let the EN girls get paid in american/canadian dollars and not yen. The exchange rate is less than amazing at the moment, I think. 68 cents per 100 yen...

I would love for that to happen, but considering that the US music publishers are on par with GENOM for maliciousness, I wouldn't hold my breath.
