I'm going to assume, based on the company's provenance and the timing of it all, that Hololive didn't specifically base Koseki Bijou's style on Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld (and indeed would be surprised if anyone involved has ever heard of her), but in retrospect, the similarities are striking.--G. -><- Benjamin D. My first thought was "which version?" (having seen several, all the way back to the beginning).

>My first thought was "which version?" (having seen several, all the >way back to the beginning). I'm not super-familiar with the character, but I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one version with violet hair and mostly-white clothes, which is what my initial thought was based on. True story: When I was a kid and full-page ads for the original Amethyst maxi-series first appeared in the comics I was reading, my eye could not read the title graphic as saying anything but "ZIMETHYST". I knew it didn't say that, but every time I saw it I had to consciously remind myself. I mean, that font, man...
