Fun fact: When Nerissa raids another stream at the end of one of her own, the jailbirds flood the damn chat with "OPE". On occasion, this has terribly confused the recipient of the raid, especially if they didn't notice the little message identifying the raider. :)

I'm not sure who the original person saying that is, but I can say that from the Deep Lore, Nerissa and co don't live near where their accent is from any more, but moved down south.

Ope, sorry. Too many years on Usenet back in the day, I still sometimes unconsciously expect quote attributions to just... be there. :)

That's pretty impressive- in my experience, Midwesterners tend to lose their accents fairly quickly when hearing others, and Southern accents tend to take over wherever they're at anyway, so the combination would normally be pretty fatal to the Minnesota-esque sound Nerissa has. You can kinda hear the change in her mom's voice, but a lot of older folks in this area have that sorta sound, so it didn't seem out of place.

And now for a new twist on this phenomenon: Fuwawa cheerfully greeted an OPE! raid with "hi Novelites!" In fairness, she's playing Hitman solo, so she's having to actually pay attention rather than just annoy Mococo.

Fuwawa being the evil twin and all, I find myself wondering if this was pon, or a deliberate tease about how Nerissa's been hanging all over Shiori lately. :)

Pretty sure it was a pon, as she was fairly in over her head with Hitman- I can't bring myself to say anything mean about Fuwawa, but she seemed extra fluffy during the part of the stream I watched, if you know what I mean (I came in as part of the Rissa Raid).

Either way, you can judge for yourself here.
