(Edit: Tweaked subject line, hope it extends to the main page)

So, in the existing threads, we've gone over many of the holos, we've talked about VShojo, let's talk about some indies just in general type terms.

A favorite of mine is Punkalopi.

If Pipkin Pippa is Pekora from Wish.com, Lopi's the Pippa we have at home. That's not to say she's in any way a ripoff of anyone, but she's similar to them both - I'm forced to wonder if being a rabbit vtuber is just a requirement if you're crazy. She plays the Shorts game on youtube pretty well, and has an official clip channel to boot.

Vexoria The Sun Eater

A Snake/Lamia/Naga vtuber with...sizable assets, she's a well known mother of (at least) two, one of whom has appeared on stream as a voice ("Little Snake"), and wife to co-vtuber Zolon (Who is usually watching the kids while mom streams, I think). She's a cancer survivor, and, despite her rather revealing model, is often very wholesome - especially when Little Snake is involved.

Neuro-sama

The infamous AI Vtuber, programmed by Vedal the turtle and drawn by Anny (Her clip channel, because she streams on Twitch). She is an actual AI, and I believe was originally made to play Osu!.

Monarch (Aka LeeandLie, AKA AmaLee, AKA Amanda Lee
Voice actress (Some here might know her as the dub voice of Marin from My Dress Up Darling, ) and singer, she's mostly a singer, though also appears seemingly at random in other peoples streams. I don't watch her on purpose, but she's a big independent~

Onolumi
I don't know her very well, but she, along with the next couple, is a player of slightly older games - The most recent I've seen in her stream list is Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker from 2011, with a big run of X-Com: Terror from the Deep being an older one.

Amiya Aranha
A spider-girl who appears to code and draw as well as play plenty of old retro type games, she doesn't have the following she deserves, I feel~

Kurumizawa Ririka
This one is fully japanese, and I can't speak it, so I have limited understanding of what she's doing, but she does INSANE endurance streams of many older games (and a couple newer ones). I have her on while I sleep a lot, for background noise.

LemmaEOF

Lemma (it/its) is a queer robot vtuber who both makes and plays games. It usually streams three times a week, with Fridays being for new games, Saturdays for programming projects, and Sundays for fooling around in FFXIV with friends.

ParaNorma

Norma is one of those strange attractor friends I have because of bizarre reasons. She's a singer, gamer, and writer who lives down in New Zealand and created the "ParaNorma" persona to help encourage her to share the music she's been creating the last couple of years.

She used to do a lot of other online content under a different channel / persona, but had to burn that all down because of a garbage human who decided to stalk her. Give her a listen and check out a few of her gaming streams?

Additional rec here for Alicia X and her life and death channels.

Life is more anime watchalongs / reaction stuff, *generally* PG-13ish, Death is more R-rated stuff and her game streams.

Her model's pretty neat, and watching her react to Every Gundam Opening through WfM is pretty great.

(She did stream WfM from the prologue to finale and her reactions to episode 0 will break your heart.)

She also started Delicious in Dungeon / Dungeon Meshi yesterday if you'd like to check it out!
