After a long Minecraft stream last night, Kaela turned right around and has been streaming Palworld for nearly 12 hours again, this time starting over on the EN server. When chat calls her out about it, she claims that she isn't Kaela, she's someone called UmbrEla and she's using Kaela's computer while Kaela is asleep. No one believes her.My working hypothesis at this time that her claim is both true and not true, and that her brain works like a shark's. One hemisphere is asleep; the other, claiming to be a different person, is streaming. At some point this hemisphere will go to sleep and the "Kaela" one will wake up and carry on, probably switching back to the ID server. --G. -><- Benjamin D. LAST EDITED ON Jan-30-24 AT 09:59 PM (EST) edited to add emphasis, because I forgot how to say it at firstWell, she did say at one point "streaming is my form of rest", so maybe you've got the right of it. Also I mathed it out, last time she posted her time played for Palworld, it worked out to 18 hours per day, since release. And she did a couple of other streams in that time as well. Kaela is Built Different(tm). "This is probably a stupid question, but . . ."

Kaela regularly gets comments from chat "I need to go to work, I'll see you when I get off work" and it's from people who work full time shifts and it's always true.

>Kaela regularly gets comments from chat "I need to go to work, I'll >see you when I get off work" and it's from people who work full time >shifts and it's always true. I have occasionally left one of her streams running for most of a day while doing other things, including leaving to run errands, buy groceries, and so on. Since she tends to just sort of mumble to herself a lot when playing a builder game like Palworld, the overall effect is a little reminiscent of living with Zoner--that same sensation of having someone in the house who is head-down in something arcane and too distracted to really interact with at all, but it's obscurely nice to just have them there. :) --G. These are just "short streams". I'm guessing it isn't a *long* stream until she has to restart it before YouTube hits the 12 hour mark and the vod starts breaking.

So it turns out that Kaela does sleep, and she even got 8 hours of sleep . . . over the course of 5 days, that is."This is probably a stupid question, but . . ."
