Yesterday, during one of her conversations during her call-in countdown thing, Calliope Mori said something along the lines of, "I am the least sexy person on the planet."

Thirty seconds into the first number of this show, I watch the choreo and think, Say what, pink woman?

Then we get to the first MC section, she reverts to her usual dorky body language, and I think, ... OK, maybe you have a point.

But the thing she doesn't keep in mind is, some of us are into the idea of a goofy bro who has lady parts. Best of both worlds, you know?

Whenever I see Towa in one of these shows, I always have the same thought, which is that her voice sounds like it should be coming from a person about twice as big as that. :)

have to say I'm not a huge fan of the lighting so far. There's a lot of glare and washout, which is weird given that it's a virtual stage.

I think she's one of my favorite JP members, even though I hardly ever watch... well, any of them, really. she just has nice vibes or something? (see also: Watame)

Also in "The Dichotomy of Calliope Mori", she routinely says she doesn't really like her old songs any more, but here she is doing a whole show of them. case in point: now singing "UnAlive" with Mio-sha.

Everyone else has popped onto the stage doing idol waves and stuff. Lui just... walks out of the portal like she owns the place. Very on-brand. :)

"Donmai" is an interesting choice of song to sing with her, since it's mostly in a language she doesn't speak, but she's almost certainly doing a better job of it than I would singing in Japanese, so.

Kiwawa! Are they going to do Fire+Ice? They are not. There are a lot of jokes a person could make about these two making a duet out of "Taste of Death"...

This Day-Glo effect on the Color Rise uniforms is kinda cool. Saturation 100. And then the same outfits go all but monochrome when Moona comes out. The visual design is really good, even if the over-aggressive lighting lets it down a little.

"Make 'Em Afraid" suits this pair well.

... Biboo can rap?

Shiori's default clothes fit "You're Not Special" eerily well. Biboo's... less so. :)

CHADcast doing "Black Sheep", heck yeah. (Bonus points for BaeRyS's goofy entrances.)

Best one so far, but I'm a little biased by the casting.

Good show! Nice range of guests, solid track selection for the most part. Good visuals except for the lighting. 8.5 out of 10, suffers very slightly by having to follow so closely the wall-to-wall awesomeness of GriMoire.
