So, just want to plug this anime that you can watch on YouTube. It's got that brand of crazy that reminds me of the Future Imperfect stuff. It's even got a decent English Dub.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmcksAVjK7o&list=PLhXFCcA4McuOuFyQ2GiK0opxFpXzNPc2w Imagine "Speed" but with a galactic subway train that has to be stopped by a gang consisting of a "Superhuman" gyaru (who looks like a magenta Andorian and can apparently breathe in space), a cyborg/robot rebellious-punk heiress, a teen yakuza and her hapless sidekick, and two cyborg stoners who would rather just sit the whole thing out. Add a "I'm too old for this shit even though I'm just 25" lady cop, and you've got an enjoyable afternoon watch. It's 12 eps, each around 3:30 long (short-form anime style), so it doesn't take long to binge.

I've been seeing clips of this and they've all been in languages I don't read. And yes, I could have spent the effort to run the characters through google translate but while it looked interesting it didn't cross the effort threshold :D and I didn't realize there was a dub. Thanks! --sofaspud --

>... Why "Milky" though? >My guess is it takes place in the far future of the Milky Way galaxy. Peter Eng -- Insert humorous comment here.

Only just saw this, so:It's a pun on the Milky Way galaxy. Y'know, Milky SubWay, Milky HighWay. Space stuff. Because it's all in space. Where the Milky Way is. Milky Highway was set on a roadtrip on a space superhighway, Milky Subway is set on board a dilapidated space commuter train. That sort of thing. --- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards. the words "dilapidated space commuter train" activate every drop of autism in my body to a degree not seen since "dark souls but a 2d sprite-work metroidvania whose art and world are both based on the deranged excesses of andalusian catholicism".
