"KanriKyara", the tag I almost used in the title but now can't, is short for Watashi no apaato no kanrinin wa isekai kyara ja nai, the reverse-engineered Japanese title of that My Apartment Manager is Not an Isekai Character thing I've mentioned here before. I'm talking about it here, this time, instead of in the SOTS/OOTR forum, because not only is this item not specific to those fandoms, it's pretty specifically not to them.

On the November 25, 2017 of Refuge, a couple of months after to-be-revealed events at that year's Match Panda made the presence of refugees from various Secondary Worlds known to the world at large, redditor u/IKnowAGuy (who's three degrees of separation from the Refuge Advisory Council) announced that they'd made arrangements for a series of live chats under the rubric I'm a Displacee. Ask Me Anything.

Just how many of the refugees will take part is still up in the air, but the first half-dozen volunteers have been determined:

• I'm a teenage mecha pilot with two girlfriends. Ask Me Anything.
  
• I'm the best martial artist of my generation. Ask Me Anything.
  
• I'm a wandering ally of Justice. Ask Me Anything.
  
• I am one of 20,000 clones of the same person. Ask Me Anything.
  
• I'm a cybernetic intelligence mounted in an automobile. Ask Me Anything.
  
• I am an android with a positronic brain. Ask Me Anything.

Sadly, I didn't pull it together and get this notification up in time for the first of those, the one with Shinji Ikari, so we missed a chance to ask him what he thinks of NXE and/or Blades specifically (though he did share his thoughts on the weirdest Eva fanfic he's read). Sorry. There is, however, still time to get your questions in for Ranma Saotome, Ryoga Hibiki (for those here who care about them), a Misaka Sister to be numbered later, KITT, Data, and whoever steps up after them. Now you know, and knowing (as I like to say) is half the Mandatory Educational Content Segment. ("Cheat Commandos, they're prob'ly battling evil / Buy all our playsets and toys!")

I wasn't kidding about the "get your questions in" bit. If you have an AO3 account and/or a presence on Bob Schroeck's forums, you can submit potential questions for the displacees, with the caveat that

These AMA sessions are set at the end of 2017, continuing into 2018. Most of our stories (as of when we posted this) are set in 2016 or the beginning of 2017. If you ask the "right" questions, you'll get spoilers in the answers.

At least one question from AO3 got elevated in Shinji's AMA, and in comments to the first chapter, there's already a question for the volunteer Sister (who, spoiler, has been identified in the acknowledgement as 10032/Imouto.
