I must not be hanging out in the right (wrong?) anime-related forums, then, as I've never witnessed such a flamewar in progress. Been hanging around since '96 or earlier, too... (Of course, I don't do most of the rec.arts.anime.* heirarchy, which could explain it.)
<shrug> Doesn't matter much to me. I use all three pretty much interchangeably, and if anyone has a problem with that, they are welcome to tell my trash folder all about it.
