Edited to fix a wordwrap issue.

Neon Exodus Evangelion The Motion Picture: Apotheosis Now will be released
tomorrow, Friday, May 16, at 6 PM Eastern Daylight Time, on this page.
I just thought you'd like to know.

VERY glad to know, but wow what torture it will be to wait! Not
that I'm complaining mind!

I wouldn't make any plans for tomorrow evening if I were you.

Never has a truer thing been said! While I have to go to work, half
an hour before release time no less, Once I get home around 11:30pm PST
there will be no such thing as sleep for me.

Druid (Who is VERY glad there was no one around to see him when he read
said terminal!)

My reaction was, quote unquote,

"Oh My."

pause.

"This makes me happy."

Blessed be.

There is a little something that R-Type has let me know about. Something that I've seen represented in a couple of pieces of artwork that he let me see that... well, I'm NOT saying here and now. Not going to give it away. I am not 100% sure the concept even made the final cut. But if it's true about a certain impetus that pushed the creative muse the last few steps and got the movie out now - let's just say, I am ecstatic even beyond what I would be just from knowing that the movie is coming out tomorrow. And that's saying a lot.

I would enter your sleep if I could, and guard you there, and slay the thing that hounds you as I would if it had the courage to face me in fair daylight. But I cannot come in unless you dream of me. --Prince Lir, The Last Unicorn

I'll just say it is very difficult to type, what with pumping my fist in the air and shouting "Yes!" a lot. Woohoo!

Just a thought that might spare the Eyrie server some bandwidth - provide a .zip (or otherwised compressed version) for those who would like to read it offline. 500k each for a LOT of readers (who will likely all try to grab it within a few minutes) sounds like a scheduled network stress test to me.

(If EPU has already planned for this, you're way ahead of me, as usual.)

That's a good idea, although I doubt we'll have "a LOT of readers" coming on precisely at 6. (I suspect you may be overestimating the size of our fan base. :) Either way, it's a decent idea anyway, will save some people some download time, and doesn't cross the "no custom formats" line, so I'm inclined to go with it.

One warning, though, for anyone who grabs the zipped version:

Read it in a fixed pitch font.

I think it was rather thoughtful to hold off on posting until tomorrow. That way, we addicts with no self-control won't stay up all night reading. Oh, and Matrix Reloaded starts today, so no one's probably home anyway...

Well, I guess that explains the second-to-last paragraph of http://www.livejournal.com/users/zonereyrie/54226.html.

Also, woo hoo.

That's 8am Saturday for us here in east coast Australia.

Looks like I won't be reconfiguring those two servers at work tomorrow after all!

Woohoo!!!

This I understand. I believe Monday's boring "coordination" meeting between redundant state officials just got a whole lot more interesting. What a shame I'll need to have the ol'laptop booted...
