Giving the Angel Rachael a personality modeled after Rachie turned out to be a perfect fit... and, we hope, a fitting tribute.
I never knew Rachie... I don't pretend that the character we wrote is fully representative of her. I don't think it -could- be. What I hope is that, in the end, we created a character that Rachie would be pleased to have her name (and memory) associated with.
