I just thought she had some particularly potent Grigori heritage myself. Not as stong or direct as Shinji, but very much there. Are you implying there's more to it than that?

For now, what is obvious is that she is not quite human in the same sense that DJ isn't. Both of their original bodies are gone, replaced by vessels created for them by the Archangel of Light, Lucifer.
