It's been ages since I last posted in any of the Forums proper. So I guess I thought I'd kick things off with a bit of imagery fun. I still sketch, so these sketches have been lying around for a while, not exactly sure how long.Anyway, enjoy/detest!
DJ. Jon. I can't remember his last name...
I drew these sketches without re-reading the series, so they're a bit off, a fact I want to rectify before I submit them as actual fan art. They're also blow-ups of tiny figures drawn on paper with other, numerous tiny figures. I want to devote a sheet of paper to one or two of them at most, and clean that up, properly. This may take ages, but I figure you guys might want to have a gander. ::cries:: This dry spell of 'fics is killin' me, I tell ya! ::/cry::

LAST EDITED ON May-12-05 AT 11:33 AM (EDT) >Jon. I can't remember his last name... You were close - it's Ellison. That's an interesting take on Jon; my mental image of him is usually not quite so... hmm... sleek. It'll be fun to see how that look develops for him. (DJ's hair is way too spikey - his hairstyle is usually pretty conservative, actually, for someone of his age especially.) I tell you what, though - I quite like your take on DJ's signature. It has a certain forcefully direct quality about it that matches well with his personality. Well played. Jon's is nicely matched as well, but DJ's really jumped out at me. (As an aside, you think the dry spell is tough on you?) Spiffy, --G. -><- Benjamin D. >(DJ's hair is way too spikey - his hairstyle is usually pretty >conservative, actually, for someone of his age especially.) You say his hair is too spikey. I say, it's cut short, and naturally fuzz-spikes. Anyway, could you give me an example of how his hair would actually be? I mean, by conservative, you cover a wide range of hair styles that can be considered conservative. Military-cut, comb-overs, blah, blah, blah... A little more specification, please. ::grin::

Military-cut, >comb-overs, blah, blah, blah... A little more specification, please.Well, I'm not really sure if his usual hairstyle has a name, per se; it's just your basic short-but-not-too-short regular-joe 'do. He resembles a teenage version of his father, and probably wears his hair about the same, so I imagine there must be several thousand X-Files websites that can help you out in that regard... --G. -><- Benjamin D.
