In one of my dreams, I saw NXE collectible plates available for sale. They were doing series 2 of the plates, with Asuka and Jon available. There were three poses for each, but I don't remember them, unfortunately.

This raises the question: Would NERV sell collectibles to help them raise money?

I can imagine the members of NERV's cover up department throwing up their hands in disgust and leaving early in response.

Well, they're covering up the fact that the city's being attacked. It's not clear whether or not that would include covering up the identities of the pilots.

And I'm not entirely certain whether that statement is dead serious, or seasoned with a touch of sarcasm.

It lived through two quite nice summer days in Melbourne and Hobart before it got to me, so my assumption would be it's the melted type at this point. Haven't opened it yet though.

The picture on the box makes it look like Unit 01's bowie-knife type.
