Yesss. This was perfect! You guys slipped right back into the groove.

Excellent deployment of the inimitable Phil Coulson (who is pretty much as great in Agents of Shield, which is itself an amazing show, as he is in the movies. Also, Agent Carter is a thing you should watch if you haven't already, and not just because Hayley Atwell is the best 40s action heroine ever).

And of course the Pacific Rim Kaiju are the new threat. It never ceases to impress me how you guys take all these separate characters and concepts and magically turn them into a coherent, credible world that pays homage to the source material without being bound by it. That's the real magic of EPU, right there, alongside some of the most lovable characters I've come across in fiction.
