This went by on my social media, attached to an alleged screenshot of a Twitter post about "the time-honored Latin American tradition of photoshopping Evangelion characters into regional convenience store chain locations", and I immediately thought of the "indescribably silly" trailer attached to the end of NXE 3:7 (easiest to get to via http://www.eyrie-productions.com/Grill/Big/bt-nxe3-7.txt).

(apologies if this comes out gigantic)

(1999?! Where'd two entire decades go?)

I now have this mental image of Rei eating Mexican food with the kind of hot sauce that is made to make people cry, and completely shrugging off the capsaicin.

You and me both!

I have this fantastic image of all the non-angel cast of NXE covering their eyes from the "tear gas", a bug catching fire just from flying over the table, etc.
