I'm trying to send a photo over hotmail to someone, but I want to paste directly into the message, so its right there when the person opens it, rather then attache it so the person has to DL it from hotmail. the gif is on my PC, BTW. thanks.I Am No One, I Have Name. You can't embed an image into email. If you send HTML formatted email you could put an image element in, but then the image has to be on a server to be loaded. Presuming their client reads HTML email at all. (And they're not like me - my procmail filter sends all HTML email into my Spam bucket, and I'll probably never read it.) To send the file from your machine to their machine, you have to attach it. (Ok, yes all you geeks, you could uuencode it and put it in the body, etc, but that's not gonna help here.)
