When you click 'view all' on a thread, the display of the threads underneath the main post doesn't show colored icons for new posts. However, if instead of clicking 'view all' you click on an individual post, then click 'view all' from the display underneath that post, you get the colored icons for new posts.

Didn't you know that allready? Basicly, the view all gives you a static page, while the view single is slightly more dynamic IIRC. But if you have the post markers colored from the single view, then the view all does too. G or Zoner explained just how to me once, but I've forgotten exactly why it does it.
