#0, eyrie.net not working from Verizon?

According to Verizon, 'Sorry, "www.eyrie.net" does not exist or is not available!'.(Verizon appears to be intercepting error messages, and redirecting users to their "sponsored link"-loaded search page. Jerks.) "eyrie-productions.com" is still working, which is how I got here just now. Is eyrie.net still working for others?

IIRC, the eyrie.net domain name was deprecated a couple of years ago, and Gryphon said at that time that he might or might not continue renewing the domain. According to a quick whois lookup, the domain expired today, so I'm guessing he decided to let it lapse. After all, eyrie-productions.com has been the "official" domain name for some time...Offsides [...] in order to be a realist you must believe in miracles. -- David Ben Gurion EPU RCW #π #include <stdsig.h>

It should work again in a day or so. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Hutchins, Co-Founder, Editor-in-Chief, & Forum Admin Eyrie Productions, Unlimited http://www.eyrie-productions.com/

>Well, not so much "decided" as "didn't have the money not to".If the decision is between renewing an effectively duplicate domain name and (e.g) lunch, I'll take lunch. Don't sweat it. I thought it might be something with my machine, or with Verizon playing silly games. Or that it may simply have slipped your mind--you have had rather more important things to worry about lately. But I wasn't going to find out without asking, so thanks for the answer!

I first noticed it last Thursday, October 25, and started freakin' out (fearing that Eyrie had gone down) but I have since trained my fingers to type "www.eyrie-productions.com", so all is now good.-T.Zukumori ================================================== "I believe that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.
