Any idea why Rei was misbehaving earlier? or just a case of not rebooting after the surge protector protected her?

>Any idea why Rei was misbehaving earlier? or just a case of not >rebooting after the surge protector protected her? Nothing was wrong with the server at all. In fact, almost every time the site is down, it hasn't anything to do with the server: It's Zoner's DSL breaking. For some reason, this can be pretty much counted on to happen anytime he leaves the house. No, really, the correlation is uncanny. For several years now we've had a link-dead outage every time he's gone to CES, or I Can't Believe It's Not Anime Expo, or to visit his parents in Florida, or what have you. If he's not sleeping under his roof, the DSL will go down and require a power cycle on the router to bring it back up. A few weeks ago when he got sent to Omaha for work? Boom. We do have someone else in town with access to go frob things when they go down, but he doesn't drive, so in those cases it's still not happening until after his wife gets home from work. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. Thanks, Gryph. I now have this amusing (if odd and somewhat inexplicable) mental image of Zoner nonchalantly walking out of his house, whistling to himself as he gets in his car, and driving off to Some Random Place.Somewhere Else, a huge Hollywood-style error message, complete with whooping alarms and whirling red lights, flashes on a computer screen, where a harried-looking Usual Suspect looks at it, groans, and pulls out a cell phone. "Hello? Yeah. It's a five-oh-three. I dunno, he's probably at AX again. Yup, key's under the mat. Bye!" Five minutes later a different Usual Suspects member pulls up outside Zoner's house, goes inside, and flips the switch. --sofaspud --easily amused tonight
