Murphy's Law of the Web #404:

Messages at the top of any web discussion forum forbidding or otherwise discouraging posting on a given topic will often serve the exact opposite purpose, and will never be successful .

Might I suggest threats of death/dismemberment, or perhaps ritual humiliation, to deal with trangressions?

Yeah, I know, but the gesture had to be made.

I guess you didn't read the Announcements section, then. :)

Anyway, I plan to just ignore 'em.

A healthy way to handle the situation, I think... writing happens when it happens.

I honestly did not see the two rules up top when I asked about GW, and when I did see them my first action was to high-tail it back and edit out the question in question. If it helps: I'm sorry!

EPU is, in my opinion, a landmark in Anime/hacker/fanfic fandoms. The last thing I would consciously do within its forums would be break the rules knowingly. I admit I did it, and I won't let it happen again.
