#0, small reorg

LAST EDITED ON Jan-29-24 AT 10:20 PM (EST) As I mentioned in one of the hololive threads over on UF Source, I'm thinking about maybe adding a subboard for vtuber discussion, since there seems to be a fair bit of interest and the topic only barely qualified to be on that board in the first place. That got me thinking that maybe I should add a fourth conference for... I'unno, "stuff we like" or something along those lines, and regroup things like Games, the CoH board, and/or possibly GotW under it. Probably the general discussion and private-mail boards as well.At the same time, Studio Quotes could move to the Non-UF EPU conf, and I could rename Non-Specific something more descriptive, maybe something to do with administration, for just this board, Website, and Introductions. And maybe, maybe even, finally give Obit Corner its own board. Thoughts? Opinions? Anyone other than me even care how the thing is laid out in the first place? :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. On the one hand, I think adding the "Stuff We Like" conference and shuffling things into there sounds like a good idea, but on the other hand, I'm a terrible organizer so you might want to get a second opinion."This is probably a stupid question, but . . ."

I think if you're adding more boards it probably makes sense.

Go for it. I look forward to watching the Virtual Large Brass Instruments get played in their own forum.*touches earpiece* Apparently that's not the wrong sort of tuber. I apologise profusely. Please enjoy your carb-rich root vegetables in peace. --- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards. honestly having an obits section would work wonders for my mental health. Not a fan of coming to the fun fanfic forum to read about celebrity deaths tbh

>honestly having an obits section would work wonders for my >mental health. Well, reason enough to make it. Moving the existing ones out of General may not work wonders for mine, but 'tis what 'tis, and I'll only have to do it once. --G. -><- Benjamin D. (except I haven't moved all the obits out of General yet)I don't THINK I broke anything, but be on the lookout. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Looks good to me so far. Nothing straight-up missing that I can tell, and the reorg looks to have gone through fine.

I've already broken the seal on VTubers~I have no particular objections to making an obit board, aside from it being where I get some of my news, and a general distaste for change because autism. (For real autism, not jokey)

I went ahead and created a couple more new boards in Stuff We Like: Media and Eyrie Motors. The latter is the new home for all the existing threads about Project Impala, and future PI and other VAB projects' posts will go in there. I'm not going to bother moving all the media-related threads from General, there are too many and I nearly lost my sanity moving all the obits, but new threads on movies, anime, and whatnot (ex the context of being source material for UF, as before) can go there instead.--G. -><- Benjamin D. I didn't like how unbalanced the lobby looked, and anyway, Eyrie Motors and GotW are still about stuff I'm doing, so I moved them (back, in GotW's case) to the Non-UF projects conference.--G. -><- Benjamin D.
