LAST EDITED ON Oct-15-24 AT 11:50 PM (EDT) Did the font change for anyone else?? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1005936391328387144/1295955634298163220/image.png?ex=6710883c&is=670f36bc&hm=bd3ed05a45d2ad97e86b5b4c43e131134b39fe82f9d26ec40e4a479da3cb912d& This seems different. I don't like it. Change is scary at the best of times but it's actively harder for me to read compare to my phone https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1005936391328387144/1295956321706971154/unknown.jpeg?ex=671088e0&is=670f3760&hm=ae94706d861bf4d878d2b5fea08b030866c95b863113f57007bc4fdde040ae1d& I'd think it was just chrome screwing up, but it's like this on firefox and Edge, too. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1005936391328387144/1295956902412554361/image.png?ex=6710896b&is=670f37eb&hm=696d381442a786c5536fe193af659a7bdfb17d1e1ad47c79a8414ba796f913a2&

>Did the font change for anyone else?? I'm just experimenting a little, don't panic. I got bored with the default and decided to try a few of the other sans-serif fonts I have. You should've seen it when I had it set to Futura! It looked hella cool, but didn't work super well for body text. (Mind you, that would only have had an effect if you had Futura on your system. Right now it's set to default to Corbel, one of the so-called "humanist" fonts that come with Windows.) --G. -><- Benjamin D. LAST EDITED ON Oct-16-24 AT 00:23 AM (EDT) Ahhhh, okay. If it's deliberate it's less terrifying than if it just sorta happened. (I still don't like it much, but my opinion is but one, and web forums are dictatorships anyway~) EDIT: Oh, whatever it is now is much better than Corbel!

LAST EDITED ON Oct-16-24 AT 00:32 AM (EDT) There, I've put it back to the defaults, except for the strictly decorative heading bars. First preference is back to Calibri, where it's been for 10,000 years. (Actually first preference has been Trebuchet since launch, but since the font is named Trebuchet MS, it's never worked! Fun fact! :)--G. -><- Benjamin D. Here, I've made the topic listings Trebuchet MS just to show what it looks like.--G. -><- Benjamin D. Hutchins, Co-Founder, Editor-in-Chief, & Forum Mod Eyrie Productions, Unlimited http://www.eyrie-productions.com/ zgryphon at that email service Google has Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam.

I think the current font size inside a conference for the topic list is like a hair too big for my taste but YMMV.

Well, I set it a size smaller at some point in the course of the various experiments yesterday, and Philip said it was too small, so... (shrug) Can't win for losin', I guess. --G. -><- Benjamin D. It's probably similar to how it is nearly impossible to alter functionality without breaking someone's workflow. So, a proposed law of interface design: "There is no change to the text settings of an interface that won't render it annoying or difficult to read for someone."
