Since this is getting popular we need to set down some rules.

1. No animations.

2. JPEG, GIF, or PNG only.

3. The physical size of the image should be no larger than 60x70 pixels. Since that's the size some EPU folks have adopted, it is only fair. But smaller is better - don't feel the need to max it out. And I mean the *real* native image size, don't try to use size attributes to change it.

4. The image should be no larger than 10KB - and that's high. Most of the nice images in use here are <3KB. We have a lot of people using modems.

Good idea... and definatly feel well thought out. These are rules I can live with, that's for certain. Now I just need to find a site where I can hang an image that they'll let me link to.
